Deposit

As is customary for short-term rentals all over the world, a refundable Security/Damage Deposit in the amount of US$300 is required when invoiced, which will typically be two weeks prior to arrival via PayPal for safe and convenient payment by credit card.  If the reservation date is more than 30 days in the future, the Deposit will be invoiced to guarantee the reservation dates, and it will become the Security/Damage deposit after receipt of the Balance payment which is due 30 days prior to the rental date.  Refund of the Deposit will typically occur within a week after completion of the rental, via PayPal back to the same credit card with which it was originally paid.  This payment is not subject to PayPal/credit card fees.  We interpret your coming to a place as special as the Casa de Dom Inacio in Abadiania as an indication that you will adhere to all standards of reasonableness and courtesy with regard to treatment of our property.  Therefore, we do not anticipate that we will have to attach this Deposit for damages caused by you, but we must reserve the right to do so.
