Miniblinds and Vertical Blinds

Among the items in vacation rental homes that are most often carelessly mistreated by renters are miniblinds and vertical blinds.  Please treat them with care. Some of the miniblinds can only be lowered when they are set in a horizontal position -- sorry, we did not invent them.  

Please observe the obvious: raise the miniblinds first, then open a sliding glass door.

The vertical blinds seem to be particularly attractive to little children. But they are not intended for children to play hide-and-seek behind them. 

There are hooks to keep the strings out of reach of small children; please use those, rather than making knots in the strings. It has become quite annoying, when we come up ourselves, to spend an hour undoing all the knots renters tied in the miniblind strings ... thank you!
