Sauna
Alta Vista has a dry sauna, which is accessible
from the garage. The circuit breaker to the sauna is clearly
marked. Set the temperature dial to no more than 95% to prevent
overheating. If overheating did occur, find the re-set button at
the bottom of the heater unit in the sauna. There is a small fan
which helps prevent overheating.* Make sure to turn it off after
use.
Set the time to about 45 min -- it takes about 30 min to heat up
the sauna.
DO NOT ENTER WITH SHOES.
DO NOT (TRY TO) USE/GENERATE STEAM. This is a dry sauna.
Please use common-sense cleanliness measures customarily adhered
to in saunas.

* If the sauna does not heat, there may be two causes:
-- check if the circuit breaker is on (by the entry door from
the garage to the house)
-- It may have been over-heated during the last use. This
may happen when the temperature setting for prolonged use is 95
degrees or higher. Find and push a re-set button inside
the sauna at the bottom (center) of the heater.
